AFTER-SHAVE MOISTURE LOTION
45 g emulsifying wax
5g stearic acid
100ml mixed infused oils (I used mallow root, calendula, elderflower and chickweed)
1000ml mixed infusions (I used the same mixture as for the infused oils)
90ml glycerine
12ml preservative (I use phenoxitol or grapefruit seed extract at 1% but you can use whatever you like provided you don't exceed the proper amount for the particular one you are using)

7ml eo blend (I used 45 drops sandalwood, 35 drops cedarwood, 30 drops cypress, 20 drops chamomile and 10 drops eucalyptus... it is LOVELY, I actually prefer it to the blend I make for females)
9x125ml bottles

METHOD
Put the wax, stearic acid and infused oils in a pan and heat to 65C. Put the mixed infusions, glycerine and preservative in another pan and heat to 70C.

Pour the WATER onto the OILS (very important to do it this way round). Stir in a figure of eight (musn't create a whirlpool effect or you drag air into the mixture) until the mixture is 45C.

Add the essential oils and stir until completely blended.

Pour into bottles, cap, label and give to the men in your life.

Fragrance oils may be used in place of the essential oils for a cheaper version.
Ethyl Alcohol which you can find at just about any pharmacy can be used in place of the vodka. Do not use rubbing alcohol as it will ruin the scent of the cologne.
Cover your work area with a plastic sheet. Essential oils and fragrance oils may damage surfaces if not careful.
A good fragrance formula should consist of 75% dilutants such as vodka, denturated ethyl alcohol and 25% fragrances. Glycerin is a good fixative which can be added to formulas to help it retain its scents.
