Gentle Arthritis Bath

Ingredients:
15 drops Lavender
5 drops Clary Sage
10 drops Geranium
3 drops Ylang Ylang
Plain white candle

Place oils in bath under running water. Warm is sometimes better than hot.... Rinse thoroughly when finished. Light a candle and make sure you can relax with no interruptions.

Visualize the warmth seeping into you muscles and joints. As the healing warmth enters, imagine that it displaces the pain and cramping. Push the arthritis pain away and let it be absorbed by the soothing water.

As you lay in the soothing water, breathe deeply as you look at the candle flame. Imagine the soft candle light surrounding and protecting you in a sphere of soft, soothing energy. As you bathe, hum, whisper, chant or sing a healing poem. I find that simple, easy to remember, child like verses usually work the best. Try something like:

"Pain flee, away from me be.
With healing light, I make it right"

Write you own, as simple or elaborate as you like. What matters is that the chant be something you can remember easily and contains the desired goals. Repeat this verse during the entire bath.

Before the water turns cold increase the intensity of your chant. Stop chanting just as the water goes down the drain. Visualize your pain leaving with the water.

Shower or rinse well to remove the oils and the last of the bath water. When you put the candle out, be sure to thank the energies that have helped to power your spell.
